Custom Art Process
Every piece of custom art begins with a story.
Some collectors come to me with a blank wall that needs the perfect centerpiece. Others have a favorite aircraft or a place they never want to forget. Whatever inspired you, I'd love to help bring it to life.
Creating custom artwork is one of the most rewarding parts of my business because it's a collaborative process. Together, we'll create an original piece that reflects your vision and feels like it was always meant to be in your space.
Getting started with custom art
1. What's your vision? Things that are helpful to share include a photo reference, color scheme, the space the art will be displayed and/or sizing. I am happy to guide you here too.
2. The first step is simply sending me an email. From there, we’ll talk through your ideas, your space, and what you’re hoping the piece will capture, either by email or during a virtual meeting. Email: tgartworksvt@gmail.com.
3. Once you're ready to move forward, a 50% non-refundable deposit reserves your spot in my commission schedule. Commissions are booked in the order deposits are received, and the remaining balance is due before your artwork is delivered.
After we've discussed your project, I'll provide an estimated timeline and keep you updated along the way. Before your painting is finalized, I'll send photos or videos for your review. You'll have the opportunity to request up to two rounds of adjustments (for example, "I'd love a little more blue in the sky").
4. Once everything is finalized, I'll carefully package and ship your artwork. If you're in the Central Vermont area, we can arrange hand delivery. For collectors outside of Central Vermont, your work will be shipped via a major carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
Custom artwork pricing
